Workplace Food Hygiene Safety Course (FETAC Level 5)

At present the FETAC certification is not a requirement to work safely in the Food Industry. A FETAC certification will be useful to those who intend to pursue further education and want their qualifications to be recognised on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) in Ireland.

The purpose of the Workplace Food Safety & Hygiene Training course is to give all participants a greater understanding of their responsibilities in respect of Food Safety & Hygiene. The course is aimed specifically at individuals and businesses directly involved in producing and handling food. This Food Hygiene Safety course satisfies current legislative training requirements (FSAI level 1 & 2) and it is also a mandatory module on the National Vocational Certificate Level 5 in Butchering.
